A cancer diagnosis often comes as a shock to both the person affected and their relatives. This can be accompanied by various emotions, including worry, fear and sadness, which can be very challenging for those affected (and for their relatives).
Many patients describe the worry of overburdening family members with their own fears and feelings. For this reason, we are happy to offer professional help as part of our psycho-oncology service. As well as offering a space to unburden yourself, we are also available for consultations on dealing with cancer and the resulting demands.
